Crash victim’s potentially ‘life-changing’ injuries

Police investigating a serious collision involving a car and a motor bike in Eastbourne on Saturday (March 20th) are appealing for witnesses.

The incident took place at approximately 3.55pm at the junction of Upper Duke Drive and Baslow Road. The car involved was a red Nissan Almera and the motorcycle was a silver Kawasaki ZX600. 

The motor cyclist sustained serious, possibly life-changing injuries and was airlifted to hospital. A stretch of Upper Duke Drive was closed for several hours.  

Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or have dash cam, CCTV or doorbell footage.
